Loving your enthusiasm Chipper but you should start a Stones thread, you'll get lots of contributions and discussion if other music threads are anything to go by.
This thread is more for showcasing stuff that slips outside more mainstream listening ( go back thro the thread for some awesome posts/contributions ranging from 'barely there' Ambient drones works to full on Japanese noise via modern composition, free improvisation and K-Pop).
Hep, I'm with you on the early jazz recordings as without the visual cues of live musicians actually playing in front of you of , Bix and other early pioneers must've sounded bizarre the first time you got to hear it.
Play loud but avoid if you've got a hangover....
