I never said it was a 'perjorative'. You have have assumed that.
Live and let live.
But it definitely was a common look - whether it is a stereotype or not.
Kingy, you have all the sublety of Donald Trump, ha ha!
Astronauts enjoy Tang.

Brilliant!!! Hahaha
There's been some great stuff posted to this thread- I had forgotten all about it. Nice to catch up on all this
The Right Stuff.
Tommy you do us proud! Also great how it's a look that really works for you
I've gotta be honest it's sometimes hit and miss. For every Pete Conrad or Frank Borman, you've got a Buzz Aldrin or a Dick Gordon.
It is intresting that most of these guys would of had their college education in the early to mid 50s. Although only 'Princeton' Pete Conrad was the only true Ivy leaguer, John Young went to Georgia Tech for instance. I was going to claim Frank Borman and Harrison Schmitt for Harvard, but that was later.
A link to the trailer for 'The Last Man on the Moon', a documentary about Eugene Cernan.

I saw it on a plane, well worth seeing if you have the opportunity. It's sad that manned space exploration beyond the earth's orbit has come to a stop. I'll watch anything about the lunar missions, I'm nostalgic for those inspirational times when optimism about the future prevailed.
Great pictures, Tommy. I'm still a sucker for the old button-down and open cardigan look.
Those colour images are so cool, and blast me into orbit man! *loves*
