They're sweet Yuca, personally i think they King of the Hill.
I tried the 7.5s as well and they were too big. In trainers I take a 7.5 (UK) or even an 8. In Clarks desert boots I think I'm a 7. There's not that much consistency with shoe sizes but that may shed more light.
I'm always amazed that so many people on here get vintage weejuns to work
I just bought these for $74.99 with free shipping:

Can anyone tell me if these are made by Rancourt?
I'm not crazy about the strap to be honest. It was really the price that sold me. My old stock Wilton Weejuns are barely acceptable for yard work these days and they squeak like those cartoon shoes from Roger Rabbit every time I take a step. I'd been planning on sending Rancourt a custom order for a pair of modified pinch pennies in the old Weejun mold (ie. quality replicas) but for $75, what the heck. These will do for now.
Can anyone ID the maker?
Could they be the "Made in USA" Hancock model?
^ This took some research but the don't look like the Hancock model ( wrong heel configuration and no 'made in USA' sole stamp).
The sole looks very thin as well, the Hancock had a much thicker mid-sole.
They actually look like the 'Logan' model but in better quality leather.
Thanks Acton, still not sure whether I'm going to keep them...
Do you know if all current US models are made by Rancourt?
Edit: doesn't the Logan model typically have the classic Weekun penny strap, i.e. the half-moon slit?

^ The Thorne, Lavin, Einstein and Oakes models are/were the weejun styles made by Rancourt.
The Lavin and Oakes are now discontinued, tho stock is available in a few places including the Bass website.
It was how/where the penny strap was attached rather than the cut-out that made me think it was a version of the Logan.
The reason that I ask is because the penny slit is identical in design to Rancourt's standard pennies and obvious not inherent to Bass.
I guess I'll just wait for them to arrive and decide whether they're good quality and worth keeping or not.

Eh, they look a lot better in the lighter brown without the ugly contrast stitching... I have a feeling I'm going to be sending them back and eventually splurge on a pair of JSA's. I'd love to work in Bass' design dept. They really seem to be pretty clueless.

Some UK penny recommendations here. Bumped for Alvey (who may be familiar with all of them already).
They might all be pretty steep though. I'd consider biting the bullet and importing from the US.
Although the French options might work.
Interesting that one can read bad reports even on the old USA-made Bass Weejuns. Eastland seem to find favour - or did.
