Nice strides (and quite a rare find) but definitely not 60s Levi's, they are early 90s and part of Levi's attempt (pre LVC label) of doing a 'retro/heritage' range.
They are based on a mid-60s style but the details they got wrong are...
red levis tag ( that period would be white or black tag depending on the colour of the trousers)
Levi's , Sta Prest and Sportwear on the same tag on the pocket liner, would have been a Sta Prest tag and a separate Levis Sportswear tag on the originals in that cut (see the size marker on the waistband in pic4 for the original Sportwear logo design),
Fabric composition is wrong for 60s Sta Prest in that 5 pocket style.
Also read the details on the folded tag in pic2 , the blurb actually tells you it's a repro product, it would be a bit odd referring to the late 60s whilst still in the 1960s.
Thanks Acton and Brad!
Obviously an must-buy for anyone seeking an early 90s prep vibe

If it wasnt probably beneath you Oli I think you'd have done well in sales
I think I'm better at spending than earning... I'm a great buyer!
BTW, is the above photo not a testament to the proficiency of O'C's in-house tailoring services?
One pair was altered in person; the other cut to spec by O'C last week per my instructions. This is the reason I never bring any new strides to my tailor anymore!
Unfortunately the £ is worth sod all and I am skint otherwise I may well have thought about those. Mind you I am still trying to claw a £ for Yucas shirt!
I remember when I started buying CDs from the US less than a decade ago (long before I started to get my clothes imported) and any price in USD I could almost halve to find out what it would be in GBP. Now USD and GBP are more or less the same. There's some stuff over there I really want to buy and even though the prices are reasonable, with the state of the pound right now the prices for me are ridiculous.
Considering I voted to stay in the EU it's particularly galling.
I'm with you Yuca, then add on any duty and handling charge and it is not really worth doing unless the seller is will to mark down cost on the sale, and with the eBay auto duty charge you can only really do this now on Etsy.
Im just not buying anything from the US at the mo or Europe in fact! And if Scotland goes...christ!
The howls of liberal anguish...
The £ has been massively overvalued for years.
Sturgeon is extremely naive if she thinks Mariano Rajoy for one will entertain the idea of Scotland joining the EU - "if the UK leaves, Scotland leaves". Hollande has voiced similar sentiments.
Hey... I wasn't benefitting from a strong pound other than second hand LL Bean shirts from Utah
Looking for quick sales on both of these, so pm me with offers!
