Viberg Boots
Doing research on top-tier work and hiking boots and Viberg gets high marks as one of the best, if not the best, in case anyone else might be interested...

There are a few boots made in Switzerland that I've borrowed from friends. Top notch construction. I'll try to get the names. Hiking and climbing boots. Expensive. Not "work" boots in the North American sense, but might be of interest to you. I know there were a couple of Austrian makers as well.
