Inspired by the Poirot and Hinterland location information.
Any more to add to the pot ?
There are a few good websites, these guys are quite obsessive ( in a good way )

Haberdashers school features in the Avengers a lot. Also Grimsdyke in Harrow Weald - home of one of the Gilbert and Sullivan duo who drowned in its lake.

The Japanese school in Ealing Common was the 60s girls school in the Nick Hornby scripted 'An Education' from a few years ago.
It's an amazing place , frozen in time and amazingly well maintained, it's exactly 'as it was' when it was purchased in the early 60s by the Japanese Embassy (the only recent addition is a fire escape even that is sympathetic to the aesthetic ).

Terry's drum is in Earls Court. No sign of those terrible 70s boozers with strippers.
Edit :- Sorry he was 'George' in 'The Sweeney'.

They just filmed a House of Cards scene last week in our apartment building. It was kind of fun to see all the fuss over what will no doubt be about 5 minutes on the screen.
Reginald Perrin lived in Beaufort Close, off Hanger Lane, on the other side from Barclays sports ground. He got on the train at Norbiton. Sunshine deserts was based in Acton.

Mostly Bournemouth. Victors house is in Tresilian Way, Walkford near New Milton.
Is Victor Ivy ? Maybe not, but try wearing a beige raincoat and a flat cap when you are a certain age....

^ no evidence of the 'Sunshine Desserts' building at either site,
however an old gent in Park Royal suggested it may be one of the old 'Harrods Laundry' buildings that I'm looking for
but rather unfortunately that was demolished in the 1990s.
The Sunshine Desserts office building is at 32–36 Telford Way, Acton. 51°31′14″N 0°15′12″W (now demolished)

Had to drive through Acton yesterday en route to a funeral at Kensal Rise cemetery. Nightmare coming off the Western Avenue. I ended up going the back the same way I came. All the roads seem to have been changed. Harlesden High Street now pedestrianised so had another detour on the way back via Stonebridge.
^ nothing is doable at the moment round here, loads of road changes and new roundabouts to replace what were on lights.
Gave up driving round Acton a few years back, keep the cars in a garage in Slough now.
I'd forgotten about this short film of the demolition .....
