The verdict is out on Khan, as he himself has stated he has represented some pretty unsavoury characters. Have Londoners just elected a Saul Goodman type I wonder? There will be a lot of scrutiny on his mayorship, particularly after Tower Hamlets. That's if he plays the religious card, which he has on a couple of occasions already and the media is focusing on this. Why should it matter, well of course, in these times it does.

From afar Goldsmith appears like the stereotypical uncharismatic son of a successful business mogul who has got everything on a plate and never had to work for anything, so understands the value of nothing. But I understand he is not like this and is very much his own man. Still, if you can't hold a pint glass!

The whole Asian vibe and blending was a perfect bit of spin to cover for the ethnicity, nation of ancestory and religion of the grooming gangs wasn't it? I can understand where the confusion comes from. The bad news is, at least according to my geographer chums, Turkey is part of Europe. I see that Khan has revealed himself to be an utter tit with his choice of "Night Czar" and renegading on every promise he made to the London electorate.

great pick for the job -
has saved a number of listed pubs,
runs a great club-night and cabaret events,
negotiated licence agreements for a huge number of clubs and events n London since the 90s,
charity patron who actually raises money and isn't just 'face' for her chosen charities.
instrumental in re-establishing the outdoor theatre events in London parks
and best of all seems to annoy the fuck out of you.

She's already more successful than her predecessor just by turning up to her job.
