^ I should say that he started out walking the streets of New York, with his camera, taking photos of mostly men of style. He has always put his subjects at ease (look at all the smiles), and his older photos show a great eye for style. When he gets back into the fashion/magazine biz, though, his photos quickly become of anorexic models and men wearing shitty "street" fashion that magazine editors no doubt get a rise out of. He needs a living, like all of us, but I wish he would still walk the streets with his camera and post photos on his blog, separately from the demands of his editors. He had a good eye, may still have it, but it will atrophy with time or be edited out of him.
