Re: A Troll Retires

Sadly Toms post's - 30 of them? Are all gone now. They were up for a few hours I think and then they were gone.
He bumped all the old RS threads - 27 of them, "Gay Trads" included, and then said goodbye.
Christmas Eve is our next outrage - Tom gave them fair warning. Most of that is being done by a Canadian chum for us as well as UK people so the time difference thing will be all over the clock. Unpredictable, doncha know.

Tom's posts were great. He spilled the beans on Trad being a wee bit of a plan by Gomie, plugged FNB without shame & provided links to over here, teased the Andylanders with the idea of the 'Trollinci' code which he invited them to try to crack, and just generally ran all over Tradland in his elegant brogues. The interchange & the Fashion forum both got hits from him too.

Young 'Thomas', I think, popped up to call Tom "silly & immature" ( - Tom replied "When will you learn? Don't feed the Trolls!" which I thought was witty of him) and our chum AfroSaxon was glad of the bump for my old 'Tipsy in Madras' thread as he'd forgotten about that book. Another item which I introduced to Tradland first as it happens... smile

So that was that. Tom left the building. I sent him a bottle of Taylor's LBV Port last night via the Net. which he should get on Wednesday at the latest.

Nice chap. He made us all smile. I hope he posts here whenever he feels like it.

Re: A Troll Retires

They're grown men, they can post where they like. I like them both too.

All this trolling info really does is to give them is more info than they had already about what Trad actually is. As they are both Trad fans I can't see the harm.

Trad is still Trad.

Not Ivy.

But Trad.

Something new.

Next year Trad turns four! We'll have a party...
