So I am listening to one of my rather special playlists. Armando, Phuture etc. What would be the right shirt? Sober white Charvet, or funky Duchamps?
Smiley face t-shirt sounds about right for that playlist...!
Now I've got the kids off to bed and the other half is busy packing for a short holiday next week I will be finishing off the last of my Nikka coffee grain whiskey and listening to Bartok and Neutral Milk Hotel (in that order).
Any clothing suggestions for that? (In practice I have on my brown corduroys and a pink OCBD, but to be honest I'd be just as happy in my pyjamas and dressing gown for when I pop outside for a cigar a bit later)....
Bartok's Romanian Dances are very nice, very touching and emotional. No shirt idea.
Try mixing a bit of Ellingtonia and Brubeck into the mix with some serious forthright T&A striped action!
Funny but when I listen to squelchy acid lines of any kind of electronic music along similar lines I get those nice saturated bright colours appearing with my synaesthesia..very similar to a duchamp window diaplay.
D's Jermyn Street shop and windows are addictive. As are dark shops/restaurants in general. Been to Sexy Fish?
Subdued lighting is the key to bars and restaurants.
I still want to see what im eating though..or who Im dating
There's a lighting that exists in certain uptown restaurants and hotel washrooms and lifts that make you look extremely good. They have discovered the exact composition and intensity as to make everyone look great. You feel like you've done a line of coke when you come out of these places.
Sexy Fish has great lights, and also M Steakhouse in Frankfurt.
And halogen downlights are the works of the devil.
Very o/t but here are a few shots for you FNB - come and visit us!
