I really enjoy Cosmic Thing, actually. I have that and the first LP on record.

/\ haha the girl on the cover of your recent repress is cute, it's true
I am a sucker for cute girls on album covers.
I bought a rarity today: a 1970 first pressing of Neil Young's After the Gold Rush with insert... and... get this... a misprinted inside gatefold photo that depicts not Neil Young but rather Tommy Bolan from the inside gatefold photo of Electric Warrior. Weird. Set me back less than 20 bucks, and it's in nearly perfect condition. I did some online research, and it is indeed pretty rare, and fetches anywhere from 100 to 300 bucks on the market. I don't think the record store owner realized what he had. When I opened up the record and saw what I'd found, I kind of gulped, did a quick take at the record store owner, who wasn't paying any attention anyway. Then made a beeline for the register. Score!
Weird stuff. I'm hanging on to my copy, though.

Yeah... ha ha... The Who did Tommy, right? If you remember the early 70s, you weren't there.
Love this video. This post qualifies for this thread because (1) it's my thread, (2) I own L.A. Woman on LP in two copies, and (3) I bought the single when I was a kid (although I no longer have it). In any case, enjoy riding with Jim.
