Since starting this thread a little more than 9 months ago, I have found my tastes evolving. I've gotten a little deeper into hip hop and electronica, and I've made an effort to dig a little deeper into some territory, especially jazz and r&b. I'm not the same music listener I was in August 2016, and I think this bodes well for my future.

What the fuck. No love for LCD, Tribe, or the Lady?
I am disappointed in y'all.

I'm not much of a Springsteen fan anymore but there are a few songs I can cherry pick from the collection and still enjoy. Here's a favorite.

Damn. Unsuccessful run to the record store. I was very focused, which was the problem. I wanted the new LCD single and I was also on the prowl for their first album on CD (versus LP, as the CD has the bonus cuts). No luck.
/\ win a few, lose a few, some get rained out ....
meanwhile, I've found a nice handful of things I've been after for years ... two from '72, one from '78 .....
for less than $50 I can get them all but my hand is frozen on the old wallet
obviously can't post them until I get 'em but soon come ... one of them is a must .....
they originally came from the South ... one from way, way South ....
old vinyl, and going for original pressings .....
going to check their availability at the end of the day ......
Nice. Do tell when they're "real," as it were.
I am on an LCD jag right now, which has me merrily spinning towards Bowie, Can, and his many varied influences. And for the first time in a long time, I'm actually looking forward to (anticipating!) a new album release. I thought that was only something kids did.
