Armchaired, though I am no longer a poster on Talk Ivy (this being the exception that proves the rule), that doesn't preclude me from being an avid reader. I am very grateful for your series of advertising and editorial images showing Ivy style menswear over the years. Your efforts with this longitudinal perspective are HUGELY important in showing the changing textures, lapel widths and other lacunae-filling examples of the Ivy Look.

70s ads could have an odd disconnection from real life. I never knew any respectable couple who deliberately wore matching clothes.
