They certainly look pretty decent. I got a pair of Florsheim Royals brown GIs a while ago and, much as I love my Florsheim longwings, the GIs have the edge imo. The best shoes I have ever owned, in fact. These look to be of similar quality and character.

I haven't perused Ebay in quite a while, so imagine my surprise. There are some vintage, new in the wrapper, Makers on Ebay. Some interesting, used ones are posted as well. Some prices are decent; other prices are steep. I won't post the links, as I have managed to step on others' toes in the past. Good luck and happy hunting.

Same here. Gave it a swerve for a while. But succumbed to a pair of Bass Buckinghams. Both the Buckingham and Brockton have been unavailable on their website for sometime. I paid £10.. £20 shipping and probably another £10 due in tax... but they are my favourite "beater" shoe.
