Not sure the non iron look is for me-but an intresting article non the less-thankyou for posting.
Personally, I wouldn't wear no-iron (or RTW for that matter) to save my life, but I found the article interesting and thought most here would agree with the author's point of view.
I loved that - Great find!
Remember Dacron?
Ivy style was full of man made fibers in the 50's, 60's, 70's - Because it was all about a new look back then using new materials & looking forward.
Not Trad I know. Sorry.
But thanks to Brother T.S. - Good catch.

... And they also looked backwards (Old ivy clad England) as they looked forward back then (The Young Executive Look) -
Oooooh my head!

Interesting about his preference for forward-facing pleats. I never paid much attention to the way my pleats faced.
^ Or is it really Uncle Jack -being honest and using your real name?
They used to call me Wild Boar Clough!

What is this, Russell Street and V-Man again? Did you face off in rugby, too?
Not that I'm not separated by a couple of degrees from a few people around here, too.

^ Small world isn't it? I keep on meeting people who's sisters or brothers I know at the moment. Never used to happen to me. Now I keep finding I have some random connection to all sorts of people. Odd.
