Come to think of it, I can't decide if the G Manifesto writer is a persona created by an ad agency(but what are they selling?) or a clever troll persona or the former street hustler he purports to be. I made a documentary video about former drug dealers in Atlanta called On Our Way Up (look it up if you're curious), and he's a little more polished than most of the Atlanta hustler guys I interviewed. You could account for that because of travel experience or some education.

Good point about the shirt articles. I like the analysis of the London styles, and especially the depictions of the City personalities and how their styles differ. This makes me want to write about the varied styles I see among my friends in the Advertising and Commercial Real Estate business communities in Atlanta.

Sadly, there are few advertising folks in Atlanta with any sense of style. I can only think of a few account executives, or mostly older gents in other advertising departments, who dress well.

What about, clothing blobs ?

You wouldn't have to talk to a "friend in the literary world" to know this. I would guess that the author of the coming book &  author of the gmanifesto blog is going to the comments section of different web blogs and using sock puppet internet characters to discuss the upcoming book.

The capping touch is "a pacino" stopping by to do a celebrity endorsement.

This is a time consuming way to build buzz on the web. There are faster ways to do this. I could explain this to Mr gmanifesto in one email.

I guess it's an effort at generating buzz on the internet for a book. If Mr gmanifesto would like this done more quickly and effectively, I'd be happy to put my years of copywriting, PR consulting and blog publicity methods to work. I can also put him in touch with my published author friend, if he's still shopping the book proposal around to different publishers. It might be helpful.

It may be a joke or maybe not. The gmanifesto is a good, made for adsense type blog. Has a good mix of entertaining stories, pictures of women, boxing and hip hop videos. Should pull in lots of 18-35 males. It's a good ad platform and he's currently using Google Adsense and Amazon ads. If it's been around since 2005, he's probably drawing good traffic and making a little bit of money off of that.
