^that's a really nice looking jacket. Great stuff!!
That dinner line up sounds very impressive Coolidge, we must have a photo please.
I've never worn a jacket with tails, I'm saving that for when I receive my knighthood for services to Ivy style.
earlier today:
Brooks Brothers alternating blue striped broadcloth point collar shirt, sleeves rolled, very nice soft shirt, red and white label
slate-blue tropical worsted trousers of H. Lesser cloth , flat-front, 1½" cuffs
Alden light-brown leisure handsewn moccasins
brown leather C-buckle belt
gray soft cotton socks
was 85F degrees outside, no jacket required today
not tweed weather but now it's around 78F so it feels relatively cool to me
I get to wear my trusty old winter sweaters four or five days a year so my winter Ivy is still Tropical Ivy but it's strange to wear poplin in the winter even when it's hot out
this is when the tropical worsteds at least nod to the seasons but any heavier is too much for this latitude
now:
blue cotton Incontinence pants sweatshorts
long-sleeved dark green cotton t-shirt
so happy to be barefoot again

Are you worried it's not cooked in the middle? Isn't it a 'Scotch' egg?
Nice pairing of the cord jacket and fairisle knit.
A lot of these fancy new makers appear to be adopting this whole running egg middle now that salmonella isn't such a looming threat.
The soft yolk is the best, I miss scotch eggs. Loving the cord/oxford/fairisle combo, looks cracking.
It's what my wife calls my Taxi Driver look, smart looking taxi drivers I thought.

Dig that combo, Coolidge.
Looks great, BB.. I would love a 60-40 parka. Maybe it's time to get one this winter.
