David is away until tomorrow. Let's declare FNB a trad free zone. No more trad, no more ivy.
Perhaps we could talk about the beauty of Italian silk ties, or beautiful shoes for a change.
The best rule of thumb is "put up or shut up".
If you want to talk about something, then start talking about it. Don't wait for others to start taking about it, before you start taking about it, otherwise you may wait forever for someone else to start talking about it so you can start taking about it. Kapeeesh?
I'm not slagging David. Far from it, as I'll always have loyalty for my ol' chum. But I think all slags of BBR should be confined to one or two threads. As someone else said, the problem becomes that other good posts get pushed down when we've got several threads that are essentially the same going at the same time. Strictly a suggestion and whatnot.
I'm cool with all of this - My attention grabbing stunts have probably all been done now anyway. I now have Mike's attention & I'm happy!
Tony's advice is sage, I think.
If you want this forum to be mainly about something you have to get active & make it happen.
I'll pull back on my stuff by all means, but others must post more if they don't want the more active posters to swamp this oasis.
Had I been a Saville Row fan I promise you I could have made you sick of SR by now as well - And I'd still have done it by bashing Andyland too!
I want to hear more about Mike's Italian Ties, Twin Six's wonderful suits, Mr. Horace's experience of that crazy lil' thing called Trad - But if you don't tell me about them I'm never going to learn about them.
Now what can I bring you all back from Paris?

Who is 'David', and why does his one-day absence elicit its own thread?
Two more posts then I've made my first hundred...
U make me feel like a virgin all over again
...
I was only pulling your elegant leg a little.
My best to you -
James (Bugger! I've finally used my real name too!).

I've never used another name here and don't really have the time to keep track of everyone.
I always liked it when Terry Lean started talking about Mrs. Lean's quiche, though.
Yeah, it was always good when Terry Lean talked about Mrs Lean. l kinda miss the talk about Mrs Lean. Maybe l should start an alias `Max Lean' (Larry Leans brother).
