Interesting how I have no recollection of this old thread. Although I had heard of Mercer since I joined the forum culture in 2004, I didn't get around to ordering a Mercer shirt until 2012. Since then I have bought nothing else. I think I am up to 32 or 33 of them nowadays. When I croak, some knowledgeable chap who is a 17.5x35 may have a field day when he find the trove of them in some thrift shop. I don't believe there is a single man in my extended family or circle of friends they would fit, alas!
In fact, I just wore a Mercer shirt to the wedding of one of my wife nieces this Saturday. For once, my wife actually liked how I was turned out!
