Looks alright, but then I think their shirts all look alright but they don't really tickle my fancy either.
I'm not keen on their cuffs and for the money I'd rather get a Barba or Fineamore from Shop The Finest, which are cheaper. Both top notch makers.
I'd have to touch the journey shirt before making a judgement on cloth, some of these non iron treatments don't leave a nice touch. I suspect T&A's would be pretty good though. I've a Canali rain mac thats treated with something that doesn't crease, its a very light wool and is damn good. I was in Nice a few months back and the it pissed it down, like walking in a waterfall, flights cancelled, never seen rain like it but the coat didn't let a drop through the cloth. Doesn't feel like wool though.
"In order to achieve the unique crease-resistant properties, Turnbull & Asser changed its usual shirt construction technique by fusing the shirt's collar and cuff (as opposed to being 'unfused', when the cloth is loose from the internal fuses), to maintain a clean, sharp shape. A finishing treatment has also been added to the Journey fabric to ensure the yarn stays straight, instead of springing back to its original coiled shape."

I have bought one. It feels a bit stiffer and less breathable. I will report back after having washed it a few times.
If I reply to that, are you going to ban me again?
I'm not sure they'd be anyone posting in the Wardrobe if those rules were adhered to fully!
Everytime I look in here its Beeston getting into all sorts of trouble...what a tinker!
So I have washed the shirt a few times but it still feels like something is sticking to the fabrics surface.
And the very fine stripe makes me nervous
Exactly! Collar and cuffs feel like cardboard.
It has to go.
