I have decided not to go to London for the time being.
Anyone here also likes to travel to "second cities"? Strasbourg instead of Paris, Lausanne instead of Geneva?
Spent a couple of months in Lausanne during medical school.
Loved it.
But why settle for just a "second" city?
Go to Barcelona, "second" city in a "second" country.
Or Sao Paolo, a "second" city in a "second" country in a "second" continent!
Geneva is a bore. Been there a hundred times. Each time is more boring than the time before.
Whats so boring about? The lack of crime? The scenery?
Anyway, I didn't want to force FNB or anyone else to utter more than just three short sentences.
Back to London: H&H (and T&A) have cut back their previsouly vast range of patterns. H&H has almost become "high street", when way back in the days you could buy all sorts of eccentric, colourful stuff.
Did you like that H&H colorful stuff? I dont understand your obsession with London when you seem to like a German style. While the Germans may like British quality, they wear a very different color palette and have a different approach to dressing in general; one often at odds with the Anglo-North East USA style.
And, Geneva is still a bore.
FNB, you are thinking too much in national stereotypes. Life - and people - are not as binary as you think.
The very traditional 1980ies/90ies T&A/H&H look, with bold colours, heavy fabrics and construction - if that is well executed, by the right person, its a great look. But it doesn't look good on me.
You've obviously never been
