To me they are vile, as are some of the other recent Paraboots I've seen. I haven't worn mine for a while, being heavy shoes they tend to come out for midwinter.

You could pull them off with heavy jeans and a sweatshirt. Think you've gotta have a look they work with Woofie, bit hipster like...workwear tribe I'm thinking. They'd look stupid with the gear you wear, or me. I reckon the Captain could pull em off though. Horse hairs for courses, as they say.

Good point. They also work in a Rockabilly or Psychobilly way too. If hipsters start digging The Cramps, these will be essential footwear.
