Re: Ivy League style for today

Actually find them a little uncomfortable in an urban environ as the heel has very little cushion now (these are a good few years old), and they are also nearly lethal on the polished floor of the London underground smile they fit like a glove though, and are too nice for house shoes/slippers so wear them outside as well. I'm keen on a pair of Blucher moc with a camp sole which are much more practical!

Re: Ivy League style for today

tomorrow will be full Ivy with '60s vintage 3/2 patch sack hook vent half-lined in green foulard two on the sleeve navy hopsack blazer from an old Ivy shop in Ohio, bought new O'Connell's twill flat khakis, 1.625-inch cuffs, own vintage rediscovered white J. Press flap pocket oxford '80s/'90s, blue J. Press emblematic silk tie from 2014, a perennial design of theirs, brass C-buckle bridle leather belt, Alden penny loafers in brown calf, all USA, as well as a pair of USA-made Brooks boxers and own vintage Ray-Ban cable aviator ....

today was J. Press poplin walk shorts USA from NYC and a Fruit of the Loom cotton t-shirt USA I bought in the early '90s from a great old now-defunct shop in Maryland

then I had to change into the good old J. Press khaki cotton safety-pin special punk-rock yardwork walk shorts and switch from flips into old work Chucks, '89 USA, which I Shoe Goo up and they keep going .....

still realistically looking at poplin walk shorts, cotton t-shirts, broadcloth shirts, and cotton twills, though we're finally cooling off a bit but just down to 76F ... I wonder whether there will be any sweater days this year .....
