Just noticed that cover is actually a turtleneck trifecta...

/\  proper look Walker, I like to see good guys wear Barbour, and I'm a fan of that color brown in a Shetland sweater, which is fully historically Ivy even though that shade was  less heralded than others by the preppies ... I have a shaggy one and always liked it .....

Re: Ivy League style for today

This parade of outfits are all superb Beebers and represent sustained high level performance, across a panoply of looks.

Hard to pick a winner but, as a suitophile, if I were to be forced to it would have to be the pin stripe. This suit must be one of the jewels in your wardrobe, the cloth is lovely and it fits you perfectly from the look of it. The accompanying shirt and tie matching is great too, as are black tassel loafers with a business suit. But to see a detailed shot of a full gig line tab deployment in real life ... well it's like a privileged glimpse into something the like of which you would only see in a David Attenborough film. Thank you for sharing that special moment with us.

Re: Ivy League style for today

for comic relief I offer today's simple garb of 501 stf, faded blue cotton long-sleeved pocket t-shirt, wide bridle leather hand-hammered brass true C-buckle brown belt from England, rustic hippie style and fully hitting both the Late Ivy/Clean-Cut Hippie '68-'70  and the tricky '71-'75 California Redwood Hippie sweet spots, plus some brown own-vintage Bean bluchers on their second resole

but later tonight it's supposed to get chilly for these parts and I will switch to an ace white/brown/black plaid Sero Purist flannel formerly NOS from O'Connell's, a very Neil Young kind of mid-'70s shirt, my favorite ... or possibly even a sweater ... I try

it would be a Brooks made in Scotland Shetland crewneck ... I get to wear a sweater twice a year maybe and I have to rotate them, last time I wore this was maybe 2014

the sweater will be overkill, I need to just wear the cotton flannel with a t-shirt under it so I can remove the flannel if it heats up ... rather be a bit chilly than too hot on red wine and/or dark rum

Walker & TrebleClef - Thank you for the kind words back there!

Walker - that last get up was the epitome of casual Ivy/rugged Ivy. You remind me I should have skipped right past the Bedale and Beaufort that I own currently and should have just gone straight to the GameFair.

Tom - Lovely turtleneck action back there as well.
