Damn. 3 piece 346 suit in a 41 (or maybe bigger). I suspect late 60s. Someone get this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/153340225031?ul_noapp=true
Cheap, too. Not my size sadly
And it's sold... This could be controversial but perhaps certain topics should be preserved for 'members'?
/\ PM'ing for details is a good approach, hooking brothers up is good, at least the cat was out of the bag already
what was the problem, was it the green shirt or the 346 suit, or both, and who got pipped .....?
anybody looking out for me should know I wear a 43R, need a 33-34 waist, and am good with 16.5/34, and 44 in sweaters, L or XL in tops
Stan - green shirt was taken by a lurker (who has now registered).
These items are on eBay or Etsy - they are available for anyone who comes across them, here or elsewhere. For public consumption, here are the two main points I communicated to the mods after TC's post here.
1) If you're taking from the forum, give back to the forum. If you're lurking on this thread and snapping up Makers shirts, at least register and post some outfit photos in the ILSFT thread or something.
2) This isn't a hard rule as yet, but I would encourage all members who snap up a deal from a posted link on this thread to reply to the thread saying they did so.
The position we had a while back, which has slipped a bit lately, was ....
1) If an item is on eBay or Etsy for sale for a fixed price i.e. Buy it Now - then it is fine to post it on this thread.
2) If the item is listed as an auction - then don't post the link, just say you've seen a nice pair of size 10 Aldens or whatever and say 'PM me for details'. Thus cutting out unregistered lurkers.
Of course you can't enforce these rules, they are just etiquette.
^ Those look good to me woof. If we all can chip in together as a forum rather than mods taking action, I think that's the best solution.
For users who lurk - register! We'd love to have you and your passion for the style here on the forum. This thread is here to be used, so no one's going to the doghouse for doing so. But it is a community, and we'd love the people who use the community to give back to the community
If anyone else has thoughts or opinions, feel free to PM a mod or reply here. Otherwise I think moving ahead with the etiquette outlined here is a good step.
I have noticed something that never used to happen ….People announcing links to their own for sale items on here.
No rules being broken but there is a separate thread for that sort of thing. Just not cricket is it ?
Speaking of which - there’s a beautiful 60s Brooks Brothers madras sack listed as a size 40L (19 inch shoulder and 23 chest) ending tomorrow. Cheap and in great condition. PM me for the link.

/\ I'd be questioning the size on that, that seems like a 43, not a 40
I was gonna say... I'm a 40 and if I see the 19" shoulders alone I'm not buying. Let alone a 23" chest lol... My tailor is good, but not "I need this jacket taken in nearly 6 inches" good.
Head over to the Clothing for Sale thread to find a link to my beautiful blue BB OCBD 15/33...
Another forum I'm on, the sales sections are all for members only- of course you can just join and never post, but makes it a little less easy to lurk and nab stuff? Same forum, you need 25 posts to sell, there was talk of making the whole section require that many, but I don't think that happened.
For all you Lorens Loafer fans out there... better than Bass... NEW IN BOX, SIZE 10
