Re: Should I Scratch the scotchgrain itch?

Finally got black Scotch grain C&J Grasmere via mail order. You have to fill in a form!

The grain is light, not like pebble or Zug raised grain.

The shoe is rounded toe but the shoe is fairly slim.  It is perfect for city or rural wear.

The sole is Danite which I wanted but far less chunky than Paraboot or Red Wing.

This is a refined shoe rather than a big rugged country one like the indestructible commando sole ones I have by Loake from a few years ago.

For me, this is the perfect shoe but I like Derby shoes. I have the Barker Nairn in chestnut which is nice but these shoes are clearly a level up.

Hope that helps anyone still wondering about scratching the itch after some time.
