I recently got a John Simons popover that is a touch snug to put on. Wearing it is fine but removal is, as you say, a bit of a contortionist act. Love the look of the guy in the photo though. Despite any struggle he may have had putting that on or taking it of he is thinking "Like I give a shit when I look this good!"

It's funny, Michael Caine has dined out (or perhaps talk-showed out would be more accurate) on his John Wayne anecdote for years - "I just got famous, I was in this hotel, I didn't know anyone, I was watching for stars, a helicopter lands, it's John Wayne..." He always makes it sound like Wayne came down from Heaven just to give him advice on how to be a star, then gets in the helicopter and leaves - Caine's brush with greatness 
Funny to see him at the Duke's birthday party after hearing that story so many times...
