Why shouldn't this forum have one too?
On THE BIG DAY I will be wearing a Tartan BD - Is Royal Stewart the most Christmassy?
Olive Cords (Cuffs!)
Some-kinda-God-knows-what-sweater from God-knows-where (A much valued gift).
A small paper crown.
Yous?
D.
My Perry-Como-esque red cashmere poloneck, dark jeans in stretch material to give much needed edge on Christmas meal, also good for crawling round floor with niece and nephew trying out new toys, brown driving mocs in lieu of slippers, cosy warm jacket (as where we'll be, it's no smoking in the house).

The strict rules of Christmas are Red tartan / Green sweater, Green tartan / Red sweater.
And Cords are the only proper trousers for Christmas Day.
I like a small paper crown in either Yellow or Gold to complete the outfit.
In Japan, Christmas Eve is a big deal. You go out with your SO and then go in the rest of the night. Christmas day is just another day in the office.
I'll decide what to wear that morning.
X-mas is always hot over here. Not many people dress up. l'll dress in very smart casual. lf l dressed up too much, my family would laugh me out of the room.
Alot of people just wear shorts, t--shirts and rubber thongs on the day. X-mas dinner is just another meal (l never eat it anyway): just Turkey, Pork, vegies, dessert, champagne and it's all done in 30 minutes.
l always dislike X-mas day. Family that gets together once a year and make out they are all interested in each other: how fake and boring. l never feel comfortable at X-mas gatherings: too many snobs always judging you.
l remember one year, my auntie served salad and cold meats for X-mas. Everyone wore shorts and thongs and then pissed off down the beach.

So, you don't sing any of those stupid songs about snow?
What do I care?
The way I feel I'll be dead before then...

My X-mas day for this year:
Visit my folks for a BBQ at lunch. X-mas dinner will be sausages, lamb chops, steak, salad and beer. None of this roast dinner crap. l'll probably have some salad and a few carrots.
Then i'll visit my partner later in the day. We'll probably have stir fried vegies and champagne.
lf l had my way, i'd take sleeping tablets and sleep through X-mas day. Worst day of the year for me.

Probably grey tweed jacket, navy cords, blue or yellow button down, weejuns. Maybe a red sweater with the blue shirt.

I'm actually thinking of tartan trou. and a blue blazer this year. Maybe white shirt. Loafers.
On Boxing Day, I'll be wearing a full suit of armor.
^ Have another dumb-ass drink. And look for another job.
