I have had a pair of cordovan boots for years but have only worn a handful of times since new as I have not had any luck with getting a shine on them that will last even one day. Your post gives me hope for another try at salvaging them.

Tried to shine the boots again swapping out some products easier to find locally and with what I already had. So far two wearings and still look OK. Will see how long it lasts.
