Re: WHY are you wearing...?

Out tonight pubbing in in Nicosia...

So for me, it`s gonna be;

Marine (dark blue) French Laulhere beret ,100 % wool - (`one size fits all`- an inexpensive non-`impermeable` jobby on this occassion)
Mulberrys leather Harrington jacket- Chocolate coloured leather; glossy, VERY slouchy .(Same collar and similar pockets as a McGregor Drizzler but the bottom of the jacket, and the sleeve cuffs are squared off.Bottom of jacket is not elasticated.(There`s no `panelling` effect either around the pockets or indeed anywhere else on this jacket.Centre seam at the back. The `Harrington` style is also a longer style rather than shorter aswell).Will wear it zipped almost right up, and with the collar up.
Dark brown Johnstons of Elgin cashmere poloneck jumper (rollneck sweater)-white t underneath
Slim deadstock USA made 501`s
Brown chukka suede  `Playboy style` thick plantation crepe soled boots

It`s cold tonight.Will wear the wool beret  out and about., Once i`ve entered the joint i`m going to i`ll wait for  approx 30 secs and `ll nonchalantly take it off and forget all about it...(It`s a cool, playful  aswell as functional bit of kit).

Merry Xmas to one and all!

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

Wool black watch tartan Brooks trou.
ol' weejuns, polished to perfection but in need of another resoling.
white oxford BD, Brooks, un-ironed.
blue blazer, 2 button with darts.  Shiney from too much cleaning.  Several places where it could do with repair.  "Made in England" -- maybe slightly too low of a button stance to past muster.
no socks
same watch band (clashing) that I've been wearing for several weeks.  Blue/white.

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

ah the ol' black weejuns with 501's.  Very "arty". within the Trad canon.  Very fashion-forward within the Trad lens.
