Again, anyone know anything? I picked it up for a song on EvilBay around February time after doing a straightforward 'Ivy League' search (well, you never know). The seller reckoned Chet and Wes Montgomery wore one and that it was featured in 'Playboy' circa 1960. It's one of the more offbeat items in my wardrobe (another is a vintage 50s Teamsters jacket - Staceyboy and I are both rather struck on blue collar chic), with metal toggles and zip; made of rugged, padded cord, dirty cream in colour; almost like a shortie duffle coat. Now, in my wholesale rejection of anything resembling a Harrington - sorry, John - I went over to McGregor in a big way: more obscure, cheaper. The Drizzler, the Anti-Freeze - excellent. Alex? Jim? Moose? Hard Bop? Anyone?
This came up through Google ?

Am I warm?
I think I'll have to try posting a picture but thanks for trying, Jim.
'Golden Age Ivy' perhaps (or perhaps not) for those who are interested. Still never seen anything quite like it and I wouldn't wear it now, yet no-one seemed to know anything much, even back in 2008. Can't even remember what happened to it, but I was often 'winding down the wardrobe'.
