'Well Put-Together'

The first time I laid eyes on our esteemed TwoRussellStreet, in Soho, I recall how well he fitted this description.  I'd risen early to catch a train, pulled on chinos and a Pendleton cardigan, coat and boots, eaten breakfast at some posh place in Mayfair, then sweated and ached at the US Embassy.  Now, the Russell Street pair, KL and JG, also did 'well-put-together'.  JS, I think, is still more 'Beat Mod', more jazz, more 50s - his roots or whatever you fancy calling it.  Did he not once sport a little jazz-type beard?  (I will not use the meaningless word 'hipster').  My hunch is, 'Well-Put-Together' (as opposed to 'neat') suits the majority of us.  Any dissenters?

Re: 'Well Put-Together'

Well Put-Together is better for sure than Barely Kept-Together, which is how we can feel in this ever changing world.
