In spite of the naff name, their claim to 'curate' clothing rather than sell it to Joe Public and general air of yoof culture, it isn't a bad shop - though the assistant seemed to know nothing about the sweatshirt Robbie has mentioned. Some good/fair/terrible footwear, excellent Japanese socks, Edwin. Must go upstairs to look at Cords next time. Pleasant staff - if you don't object to being called 'dude'.
Started in Leeds about a decade or so ago. Has a fair following.
The sweatshirt is maybe only available on line from Hip Store. I did an internet search for a particular American style of sweatshirt to replace a good sample I got from a Gap outlet store. The manufacturer Good Measure is based in Manchester and sells directly though.

Took me by surprise, that. They seemed to be thriving last week.
They seem to bank on students return yet the current fashion for students is expensive brands as vintage via apps and decent vintage shops paired with cheap high street basics.
The students are wising up to spending their grants on expensive clothes (My lad is year 3 at Sheffield and so I'm reporting him).
Just glad it was unconnected with my visit. I seem to have that effect on people. A single purchase, a bit of chat, they close their doors forever.
Back to 'Wild' it is then.
