Sockless, Shorts And A Madras Jacket

Sitting in the car in the pouring rain, thinking about this and that, the life, the universe and everything, I suddenly had a vision: of an LP by the MJQ where - possibly in a field - in the middle distance, they are dressed in the aforementioned attire (or something very like it).  I'd put that LP to around 1964 - came from the old feller's collection - and the guys looked the absolute business.  I'd guess they were wearing loafers.  But I haven't set eyes on the sleeve since 2012.
Question is, who of us could pull it off?  Who would dare?  And did they change back into their more conservative attire the minute the shoot was over?

The Small Faces, from my neck of the woods, could be seen wearing suchlike. In their early days they wore some great clothes, before they went 'all floral'
