Orange Suede Desert Boots?
As seen on the great Alec Guinness in his portrayals of 'Smiley'. Or so I've read. I rather like the look of them.

I don't think I've had a pair of orange boots but I did buy some burgundy Clarks desert boots in a sale and that might have been a mistake.
