Now back in stock at you know where, I cannot - and, after a while, could not - get terribly excited about them. In fact, years ago now, when buying Brooks on here from the amazing Dennis The Plumber (Chicago-based lunatic, a man after my own heart), he tossed one my way free of charge. The Brooks ole Shamrock sent across the pond have mostly lasted (a dozen years or more and they were secondhand then). Not a single Baggie has. A bit ho-hum then.
When I looked at the sizing, it seemed to be for Ivy clad ogres. I couldn't see how they fit anyone.
When a former boss came to UK for first times from USA wearing traditional fit billowing USA shirts, people here couldn't believe it. The 'couldn't they find shirts to fit' comment was heard a lot.

Baggie seems to have gone overground in the UK. Hartford, I'm pretty sure, turned up locally. I'm grateful for the 'billowing' fit. It covers a small number, if not an actual multitude, of sins.
