Re: What Are You Having Trouble Finding?

White T’s - yes Staxfan/Jdemy the Goodwear ones in JS live up to their name. They have the right amount of heft and wash well with the collars keeping their shape. But at fifty quid for a pack of two they are a bit of an indulgence.

If you’re going to wear a white T under a collared shirt you want the neck to come up high so the T is visible. The problem is that the collars on cheap Ts often go loose after a few washes.

Hi Woof, I like the ones in Uniqlo, but they are very short in the body.

Re: What Are You Having Trouble Finding?

White T's, the necks on the Lands End stand up well, nice shape/ depth, but as mentioned an almost 1/2 sleeve, good length, wash well but of course go grey'ish after a while, but I reckon good value for money when you take the 40% discount taking them down to around £12 , as an aside I bought some coloured T's from them for dossing around in in lockdown, sent the first batch of 3 back as the colours had run, replaced them & washed carefully but the buggers still ran, couldn't be bothered to return them for a year or so, but they took them back refunded me in full and refunded the cost of sending them back, excellent customer service, just a shame most of what they sell now is dross, ( white t's the exception !)

Still - a shawl cardigan at a reasonable price.  There are some acrylic horrors on Ebay at quite high prices.

White Ts? Muji are good and cheap, but size up. 511-tactical are excellent - high neck that won't sag, long in the body too. Of course the very best were from Campbellesville Apparel, who made them for the US military. If you had a friend on a base it helped - I got 3 x 3-packs for less than 20 quid! Apparently they took over the old FOL plant when they moved offshore, but the average age of the workforce is about 80, so I believe they're shutting up shop soon. They certainly no longer have the Government contract.
