Sockless on November 13th?! That´s what i call really "ssssssed".
At your house i hope. Otherwise my deepest respect!
No, no. It's pretty mild up here. Trip to Aldi (forgot the gnocchi), then to our favourite chippie, then onto a plant nursery to buy winter bedding plants. Back home now in threadbare Bean cardigan, USA-made Baggie denim shirt, beater black Wranglers, German socks.

Taking few, if any, chances.
Not sockless today. Royal blue John Smedley.
A good ensemble AFS. Here it’s my USN peacoat over an Alan Pain navy blue slipover, Sero flannel plaid shirt, khaki Hertling cords and Paraboots. Risking Peaky Blinder remarks with a Stetson newsboy cap.
Never bothered with 'Peaky Blinders' but the Stetson cap JS fitted me for at Russell Street (his own fair hands) is the only hat I now own, having experimented without success.
A trip out means experiencing at close quarters the visual illiteracy of the English male (in Ripley, so Woof won't be surprised): shorts, three-quarter length trousers (sometimes GI Joe fashion), hooded sweat-tops clinging to massive beer bellies, even flip-flops. Appalling but, in a way, nothing new.
Actually I did see a guy in Lidl wearing a dark grey, not quite charcoal, Ralph Lauren quarter-zip (maybe half-zip) but I'm not sure that means anything.
Walkover made in USA red sole chukka boots (TKMaxx) Sand
5 pocket dark green Lee cords
Ralph OCBD in pistachio? green made in Canada circa 1993 (after AFS posting reminded me)
Burgundy Anderson belt
Uniqlo boxers
Uniqlo light down jacket in olive (non Ivy maybe but it's cold out there)
Gordon dress tartan made in Scotland scarf
grey herringbone flat cap
And I still ended up looking like an East end barrow boy!
( I started with the footwear because for me that is the most important part of an Ivy wardrobe)
I would say that a down jacket fits the 'canon'. I'm pretty sure if Barbour waxed jackets can so can down. I have an olive quilted jacket (made in sunny Clacton) that I intend wearing as a 'layering' garment for bitter days. All the above sounds like kosher kit to me, Robbie. I used to favour FOTL boxers myself.
Kind of blue.
Navy Pendleton cardigan bought around 2007/8 - holding up well.
Navy USA-made Ralph Lauren polo (having the booster this afternoon, so the short sleeves will help)
USA-import 501s
Mostly charcoal but with a hint of rust and cream Falke socks
Will probably offset the blue with some grubby olive
Shoes? Maybe the dark khaki Astorflex
Idiot of the day - some stupid old sod wandering around the hospital car park in shorts. I would not contemplate going sockless again until next April at the earliest. No wonder people get ill.
Downside - once again my Ray Bans steamed up that that I couldn't see the pretty nurses.
I'll be in Guildford on Saturday, and I'll probably lose count of badly the dressed and men in shorts/cargo's.
Today - Brown cord Keydge jacket, (another of those purchases I didn't know I needed but JS did....), Wheat coloured (heavy) Liberto 5 pockets, heathery green Jamiesons shetland, Gant 'Yale Co-Op' blue ocbd, brown anderson belt, dark tan Eastland camp mocs, expensive trip to John Lewis for ' home furnishings' & lighting,
Also on "getting jabbed" duties so Goodwear tee, dark olive cords and a down jacket bought in the M&S sale maybe three years ago (worn for just the 2nd time) but seeing down jackets mentioned on here thought why not... Pantherella socks, whisky Astorflex and Laurence Odie watch cap. Toasty.
Eastland. Very nice, too, Stax.
Dark brown cord RL blazer (with about 200 inside pockets for some reason)
Grey wool roll neck
Lee 101z
Grey wool socks
Brown leather Clarks db’s
USN Peacoat
Navy blue Alan Paine crewneck

Rose pink J Press cords
Brown Paraboot Avignons
No hat = regret - as it were taters.
Chocolate brown Clarks DBs
Dark Olive US style khakis Dockers K-1- original sizing not altered
White T shirt
Dark green long sleeved polo- Uniqlo
Olive light down jacket
Definitely too much green going on. I looked ex- military as I strolled along towards the ex army base Shoeburyness
HaHa. I know. I even did a double take when I looked in the mirror. I forgot to mention the green tartan check scarf. I've been going through a blue and burgundy period and I fancied a change. I went a bit overboard when I found all the green stuff sitting in the wardrobe. I'll try to do better today.
Snowing in deepest, darkest Derbyshire. Out will come the big Dhobi overcoat, the quilted jacket, an Alan Paine v-neck. Cashmere scarf? Quite possibly - even probably.
Grassroots footy duty today so a bit of a mishmash...
