Re: What's Cooking?

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Re: What's Cooking?

There is a serious lack of debate here at the moment, so let me play devils advocate.
No,No,No! Food is massively overrated i disagree very strongly with everything you say!
However Mark is very insightful, Seafood can be very Yum-Me or yummy even!

Cooking up an authentic Tartiflette, a green salad and cracking open a bottle of Bordeaux.

Re: What's Cooking?

Food will now be on your mind.  I'm preparing almost everything I'm eating now because of this diet, but we had take-out yesterday: Nigerian: including their famous rice dish.  Nice lady sold us enough to feed a family of four for several days.  Chicken for me, plantain for the vegetarian in my life.  Good but not as satisfying overall as Jamaican cooking.
Today: back to seafood: mussels in white wine sauce, king prawns.  Mixed salad.  Water.  No alcohol whatever.

Re: What's Cooking?

I was less than fair about German cooking.  My younger daughter's best pal is from near Leipzig, so I have experimented with hearty stews using belly pork.
