Agreed 2RS. Lo-fi works well. We just need the ability to post photos. I'm not one for self portraits but I would like to 'back up' some of my posts with supporting pictures.

You must be confusing Shooey with somebody else. He knows more about shoes than anybody on the fora.

If something doesn't happen soon, whatever that something might be, with blank spaces filled in, the quote function reinstated, photographs of luscious maidens, Madras shirts or Rancourt footwear permitted and encouraged, I'm afraid 'Talk Ivy' will end up sharing the fate of, say, Ted Bundy.  Or perhaps a lethal injection would be more appropriate.

Agree photos etc would be good, but what we have is still quite alright by me, perhaps the posts are a little better and more detailed without photos, just a thought,

I agree with Stax. Lack of photos doesn't stop us shooting the breeze about Brooks Brothers shirts or Suzie Kendal vs Adrienne Posta. That stuff's burnt into our memories, so a picture  hardly adds anything. And lack of a photo can enhance the art of conversation.

But of course Robbie's right. For a quick hit of inspiration you can't beat a photo. I know I probably started lurking regularly due to the regular show of Ivy. As long as it's not for 'Does The Board agree with my choice of trouser before I dare leave the house?' purposes.

Adrienne Posta - thanks for reminding me of her Spendthrift, she was lovely, BTW fellow pervs , I see the Chinese Lady at the gym this week, took a closer look and she is fit,fit,fit, the imagination goes into overdrive!

Count me in as a fellow perve.  Amazingly I also had a thing for Adrienne Posta. She was mates with Lulu and I used to delay going out on a Saturday night so I could catch a bit of the Lulu show which she appeared on. I had the hots for Lulu as well.
How close a look did you get of the Chinese lady Stax? You will end up getting banned from the gym if you are not careful.
