It's started early this year.
Maybe stimulated by the thought of actually getting on a plane to sunnier climes.
It's my annual trawl through Reyn Spooner's web site. I will literally spend hours looking at the different designs and configurations. I like the look of the some of the more subdued designs in a pop over but have never pulled the trigger.
Their sizing appears quite odd. Yes, I appreciate these are meant to be roomy summer shirts but the body to collar ratios on their size chart look off.
I'm a 42" chest with a 15.5/16"collar. Medium always fits me in every alpha sized shirt.
The medium here has a massive chest but a smaller collar opening.
Has anyone on here had experience of the shirts that they could share - both fit and quality wise.
Mine are still up in the loft. JS sell them and may be able to help with measurements. Reyn Spooner have started to offer slim cut shirts which are not my cup of tea, style or fit wise.
Do these come under the heading/sub-category 'fun shirts'? I did, once upon a time, experiment with Tiki, batik etc. but never actually Reyn Spooner - another example, I think, of 'iconic' American clothing being outsourced to that nations traditional ideological enemies. I always - as I suppose you must - wore them untucked, but quickly went back to Pendleton solids.
Frankly, Alvey, I'm not convinced any English poster will be of much help here. We can be a slightly dour bunch. Woof's post is probably to the point.
