What I’m after is heavy khakis. Really heavy weight. Not winter flannel lined, but could be worn through at least three seasons. Wish I’d made more effort to check out the Orvis ones when they were on the High St.

Even good heavyweight denim in a decent khaki colour would do. Never seem to come across them.
