There's a good feature on Ivy Style on some items from their current range.
When they relaunched a few years back I bought a pair of their chinos. Although they required a taper they are very good quality.
Sadly, I also purchased a gingham shirt that wasn't to the same high standard.
I've just invested in pair of their stretch cotton chinos so will be interesting to see if they live up to my original purchase
Alvey - I see the ad as well, I thought the blue chino shorts looked good, I'd be interested to know what you think of the chinos when you get them, did you have to order from the US or was there a UK or EU option to order from ?
I bought them in the States. Currently being turned up
Did Duck Head, at some point, reach the height of 'perfection'? I seem to recall owning something years ago; can't remember what it was: possibly a polo shirt. More recently, a USA-made chambray (which I came to dislike) and a USA-made pink button-down - which they decided to bugger about by giving the collar a navy blue interior. Why? Not a bad shirt otherwise, although not that 'sherberty' (TRS-copyrighted) pink we all imagine will have sexy ladies swooning and offering us the kind of sexual activity that only exists on PornHub. (Of course I look at it; don't you? - no, not you, Yuca, you're exempt).
Alvey once mentioned some ace chinos he'd once seen Jeff G wearing. At least I think it was Alvey.
Much of their stuff was being made in places like Pakistan.
Maybe the original posting should read 'Dickhead' on Ivy Style.
I had a lovely pair of brightly coloured Madras shorts by Duck Head. I bought them at a Factory outlet in Florida 30 years ago, cheap as chips.
Yes, Jeff G had the perfect pair of DuckHead chinos.
The chinos from about ten years ago were very good. They were also available in Chiltern Street.
The fabric was slightly heavier so draped well.
I have pink, made in the USA Oxford uni stripe that has yet to be worn. The collar is a squarer design than I would like though
