Once...  but not for a long time now...  I had several, all imported from the USA and fancied myself a little Anthony Perkins As Track Star...  Absurd?  Of course it was, but at least a percentage of American dressing in the UK is an absurdity.  The old teddy boys proved this. 
Not quite the same, but that jacket Hoffman is seen wearing towards the end of 'The Graduate' had its admirers on here, circa 2008. 
A year or two ago I quite fancied a wool jacket - but without the horrible, cheap-looking leather arms. 
The moment passed.
