Hey Darren, how do you like that particular LL tweed cloth? I got another LL tweed whose fibers were too weak and excessively carded, unsuitable for custom clothing. I had no other option but to return the cloth.

Found specs for the heavier Hardy Russell plaid cloth, which is a bit lighter than we both thought, at 19 oz.  Makes a nice blankee.  Couldn't find the lighter-weight version, which I hope they still have.

Quick note regarding the Russell plaid---If you plan to have a jacket made, you might want to decide how you wish the plaid pattern to be laid out.  If you take a look at the top coat, the bolder part of the plaid is on the outside of the body of the coat, bordering the sleeves.  But, with the bottom coat, the bolder part of the plaid is actually on the center of each side of the body.  In effect, the pattern is reversed on the bodies of the two coats.  I, personally, don't have a preference, but others might.
