Sartorialist Redeems Himself

1/11 entry has a few people with eye appeal, esp. the Rubinacci lad and the Silver Fox...

A conversation starter at Pitti, for sure, but those magenta pants would seem a bit over the top (fop?) for someone outside of the fashion industry, don't you think?

The gentleman after Rubinacci sports what looks like a dark brown flannel chalkstripe. To my eye, there are few cloths that approach its elegance, offering a unique combination of old-world chic and contemporary hip.

^ The cut and fit are nice, but to me those sleeves (suit and shirt) are waaayyy too short.  Sleeve length is personal, though.

I think the old broad pulls off the puffy long coat, but she'd look a lot more chic in something more svelte -- maybe a trench or a woolen overcoat with a bit of flare at the bottom.

The old broad should dress like an old broad.

I do weelly, weelly like the "silver fox" outfit.
Just the sort of thing that is not seen daily.
It doesn't need a scarf to make it look good, either.

You've GOT to be kidding. A misbuttoned coat and purple pants does not a smart outfit make. lol
