Nothing--nada--of even passing interest on that august message board, er, fora, except to the newbiest of newbies. If the posters cannot muster sufficient energy to post interesting content, perhaps those princes of panache, those saints of savoir-faire, those fonts of finesse in the moderators pool can get off their asses and muster a modicum of energy, and contribute beyond these current fascinating threads, below. There sinmply isn't enough bandwidth to post every inane thread in what is increasingly becoming a self-parody.
Do Sneakers Need Shoetrees?
Hanger Project
Help Dressing My Wife's Father
Why Do Most People Prefer Tan Raincoats?
Manzoni Suits

I, for one, use shoe trees in every shoe I own. I hope this is helpful.
Well, at least the "Wearing Sport Coats Unbuttoned" thread has had the salubrious effect of removing the odious Cruiser from Andyland--at least he announced his departure. The abscence of that relentless, pertinacious, obnoxious lowbrow can only have a positive effect on that forum. However, a lot of chaps make their "hemlock posts" only to reappear a few days later. I'll believe it when he's been gone for awhile.

What is the best Interview Suit?
I highly suggest a glen-plaid double-breasted with a carnation in the lapel.
Content is easy enough to add. I wonder why more don't do it? Probably because most persons in this world sit around and wait to be entertained, or stimulated. Then they react. People can't self-start. That's why most marriages are dumb.
Just go find a few photos of someone famous, and discuss them. Easy.

Normally, I don't harbor grudges, but when Cruiser made very snotty remarks about my wife (about whom he knew absolutely nothing)--and, more annoyingly, went undiscplined by the moderators--it got my back up. At first I merely found him amusing and probably would have enjoyed nettling him. However, he seemed to enjoy the favoritism and protection of the most powerful of AAAC moderators.
I have never used a sock puppet, unless you mean my user ID on this forum. The recent attacks on Cruiser were spontaneous from other men he had annoyed. Frankly, I would have thought the whole forum would have had it with that pest by now.
If Cruiser does stay away for good, I'll be very happy, nothing but bad advice came from him and he was annoying on top of it.
Long time looker, seldom poster here.
Seems to me that AAAC does have serious issues and not just the "Trad" area. The number of posts seems way down compared to SF and the quality seems lower than in the past.
Then there is the issue of lost post count and finally the question of a certain shirt maker whose personal criticism of others can be so far beyond common courtesy, that it is amazing. These comments are not tolerated for anyone else but shirt man.
Finally the whole thing has become just plain stuffy. SF and FNB leave open room to express your views, use a bit of off color language, throw in mild political comments and generally make things more interesting.
More to follow as I undoubtedly will end up sanctioned or something over there.
