It was also discussed on the 'Green OCBD' thread Russ. No one conclusion was come to there either but I think some good ideas were thrown up. Also Bop (I think) dug up an alternate image from the Milestones shoot.
I've come to the complete conclusion, by reading the fact, it was a green pinpoint oxford.
Good for you. Money were your mouth is time. Post the pics and state your case.
If the good people of TI accept it, I'll go out there into the e-wilderness and find you that 52 chest board shirt.
Good god you read something then never find it again, it might have been royal oxford. I shall try and find what it is I read.
The verdict on that shirt of Miles' is still not in though: was it oxford or linen?
Def not linen, i'm sure it is a pin point or royal oxford
Hold the phone.... there isn't enough billow in that Pullover to be the Milestones shirt, is there? Or am I mad?

It would be a redundant question for him to ask george, what he would be asking is, why is that mutha fucker wearing my shirt.
^ That does sound more like Miles. He'd probably call him white boy too.
^I would identify myself as John McClaughlin, he's the only white cat he respected. Maybe, Bill Evans, but he's also dead, so Miles would know you were lying.
Lets face it as cool as he was miles was a flappy diva. Trane i can relate to a big mess of a man.
Miles was only cool for a time, then he moved somewhere else, and kept moving until like William Burroughs who went so far out (sartorially speaking) he couldn't get back to the cool style that once made him so intriguing and interesting.
Yeah, but then he followed cool as a trend, not cool as to what we think to cool, i suppose there is two parts to that word, true cool, and trendy cool.
No idea about the fabrics, couldn't tell from the pictures, but I'm pretty sure that these are two different shirts.
No I meant in the 70's, 80's and 90's, you agreed with how my statement should of read Hep. Basically what you just said, is what I was trying to say. You must have gone to a better comprehensive.
