Ebay has lots of excellent items of relevance turning up recently in my saved searches, from jackets to shirts and shoes.

People seem to be clearing out of all kinds including classic Ivy brands up to JS, Keydge, Vetra, Hardy & Johnson etc. Interesting to see recent brands there, .I often wonder who it is clears out such as H&J when you would have to prize it from my hands. It does seem some of the clothes and shoes are bought and never worn at all, only to be sold on a number of years later.

I just got a stunning,made in Italy, never worn RL sport coat with every perfect Ivy detail. It really us a work of art. The fabric is a light fawn herringbone with other colours subtly woven in. My wife was hugely impressed. I won it on one bid, at the minimum. This is just one example, I've had beautiful seemingly unworn shoes by Loake and Sanders recently too, each with untouched danite soles which are perfect for work.

Outside the bay, I now have mopped up all the Gloverall short wool jackets in every colour at lowest sale prices each. They are wonderfully made in UK.

Sadly the h and j olive cord jacket I got for flatsixc is too small for me in the shoulders. I need to search to find out who it was who was also interested before and pass it on...

AUS - good to have you back posting ..... I'll take a look on the bay to see what might be of interest,
as an aside Maarkt regularly have some interesting stuff, particularly in NWT's, this week there were several Mercer ocbd's used but in good condition, they went the first day they were on there as it seems all the good stuff does, as did a Dehan shawl collared cardigan in navy,

I do keep an eye on Maarkt but never seem to have my size on items and prices can be a bit high when I don't actually need anything new now

Three wonderful Hardy and Johnson jackets at the bay currently.

Also a Lord & Taylor natural shoulder jacket, Rancourt loafers.

Intriguingly Eric 'Knocker' Knowles, the antiques expert is selling two pieces of 'art' by John Simons too, which are mounted pieces of polished wood, vaguely reminiscent of Barbara Hepworth. £200 each. The descriptions made me smile.

Very reasonably priced new.

I like ebay, but it is very expensive to buy when living in Australia. For eg, I bought a $20 shoe tree, but with taxes and exchange rate it ended up costing me about $160.00 A nice cashmere jumper for a bargain price of $60 will end up costing $180.00. Years ago we had a better exchange rate with no taxes and it was cheap, but now it is a rich man's game. I don't buy near as much as l used to (3 jumpers a week for years), but l am planning a big purchase tonight and the taxes are gonna sting REALLY BAD!!!

Yes, it's me. Just having a bit of a tidy up of my wardrobe. I've put a few things up on FB and Ebay to see how things go. I shall be listing more things as I sort through. I've got a couple of vintage herringbone sack jackets and a several unworn 42 & 44 H&J jackets that I will be parting with.
Lots of other things including Brooks Brothers shirts and Smedley knitwear that I will put up over the coming weeks.
I'm looking for an olive cord H&J jacket size 42 which I would be happy to buy or trade for any of my jackets

Sorry, just sizes 42 and 44 unfortunately. They are unworn personal jackets that I got back when we were making them.

I did put a couple of jackets that might have fitted you on FB, but they went quickly.
I've kept a couple of our Brisbane Moss cord jackets, a blue in 42 and an olive in 44, this is one of the cord jackets in the heavier Brisbane Moss material that we ordered by mistake. It's a bit big, but works with a shaggy dog or similar under it.
