REALLY good post.
Outside my CAD/'Trad' ghetto obviously, but I think it's spot on - especially the 'mainstream metrosexual' observation.
The 80's seem to be everywhere right now... the OPH element of 'Trad'..., the roots of metrosexuality....
Time for a long hard look at the decade by someone? (Peter York has done it in the UK already, but took a blanket approach,) Could Fussell do a good job on the 80's?
No idea.
